![]() Written in the early 60s, it was Fowles’ debut novel, and it’s hands down the most fucked up and chilling book I’ve ever read, while being one of the most beautiful at the same time-books this old usually lose some of their bite, but it’s as creepy today as it ever was. ![]() I originally got interested in this book because it was the inspiration behind Steven Wilson’s Index, which is one of the creepiest music videos I’ve ever seen, but when I saw that the book had its own “associations with serial killers” section on Wikipedia, it instantly moved to the top of my reading pile. ![]()
